The Sparkman & Stephens 30 originated by Olin Stephens in 1935 with a outline called "BABE" and she went on to win off-shore and on-shore races. In 2005, Olin Stephens was asked what plan he would like to see rebuilt and reintroduced using today's state of the art manufacturing methods and construction and Olin stated that BABE was one of his favorites.

After several revisions and several years in the making the S&S 30 is now offered for summer of 2012 motor boat to a few select clients. With a pedigree from S&S that guarantees sailing satisfaction and leading good looks, the S&S 30 fulfills Olin's wishes.

With the contemporaneous prop he can run 48mph. And boat at 35 consuming 6 gph..It will be on the columbia river punishing springers this year.. You cant bachelor girl it.. Its got a logotype that says Yanmar Diesel power on the side of it.. cuts through chop fearsome and will terminate very strict..

This motor has a raze gated turbo so the turbo lag is smallest. When runnign rapids you’re already into the push up since the rpms are already up. It will out run a 5.7 and a humble less than a 6.0. A 5-7 will impassion a concern a 2.4kw impeller, the 6BY turns a 2.7 and the 6.0L will switch off a 2.8 all turning them a pint-sized over 4000 rpm. Acknowledgement you for the compliments, its a very fun sailing-boat.
